Micro Rain Traveling Sprinklers
Sports Turf Applications
Coaches, landscape managers, and groundskeepers have added pressure these days when it comes to turf maintenance. More emphasis is being placed on turf being properly maintained for looks and to help today's athletes avoid serious injury. It's called proactive management and with the addition of a Micro Rain traveling irrigation system, the results can be significant. These machines are designed to be extremely user friendly, have unparalleled performance, and operate completely unattended. They are a great alternative to in-ground irrigation systems which are typically more expensive, higher maintenance, and have sprinkler heads that often need to be repaired, causing damage to the field. Proven turf management programs that include aeration, fertilization, and a Micro Rain irrigation system with its uniform water applications will ensure your field has a "softer feel" and healthier look.
MR43
The MR43 is widely used on all types of sports turf applications. This unit is capable of covering football fields in a single pass down the center when adequate flow and pressure is provided. The MR43 with the 5.5 horsepower Honda boost pump provides maximum coverage of up to 450 feet long and 150 feet wide. Flow rates range from 15 to 50 gallons per minute.
Horse Arena Applications
Micro Rain arena watering systems are the latest innovation in arena watering. Today's horse owners know the importance of maintaining moisture content in their arena to insure proper footing and control dust to keep horse and rider healthy. Micro Rain systems provide the labor free solution to watering dusty arenas! The diagram shows how the sprinkler travels the length of the arena.
Horse owners have experimented for years with different methods of watering. Hand watering, stationary sprinklers, cumbersome water trucks, fence top sprinklers, and other methods are many times less than adequate and can be eliminated with the Micro Rain system. With staff members knowledgeable in the horse industry, Micro Rain systems have been designed with high speed gearing options, sprinkler head combinations, and model selections to fit most any arena size.
MR25
Utilized in small arenas, dressage rings, or grass areas around barns. Requires 3 to 12 gallons per minute. Wetted areas up to 200 feet x 90 feet. Horse owners with small arenas and dressage rings rave about this models ability to control dust and provide safe, uniform footing.
