460 Automated Rotary  Grinder

Foley United is pleased to present the NEW 460 Automated  Rotary Blade Grinder. This is the most innovative product  to enter the Turfcare Industry in years. The 460's enclosure  system for dust and noise control features two grinding heads,  automated infeed cycles, and a built in blade balancing system  that makes the process safer and more productive than ever  thought possible.

There is nothing on the market that has addressed the need  for a high volume productive commercial blade grinder in the  lawn/garden and golf industries and the 460 will fill a void  in the market place.

While grinding is recommended every eight to ten hours of  use, the 460 will minimize multiple issues that are associated  with dull rotary blades. More stress on hydraulics, added  strain on your engine, and increased fuel consumption is typical  when blades aren't sharpened regularly. If you're interested  in elevating performance, increasing cut quality, and being  more productive, the 460 is a must see.

ACCU-Sharp Model 605 Reel Grinder

The ALL New ACCU-Sharp 605 is the newest addition to the  "Auto-Index Relief" family of automatic reel grinders  for Foley United. For those who desire the "auto-index"  relief system, but don't quite have the budget for our tabletop  style units, this machine provides all the options you need.  Not only will the ACCU-Sharp "spin" and "relief"  grind, it will do bedknives as well.

We have had many people budget for this unit one year with  the bedknife attachment kit, and budget for a bedknife grinder  at a later date. Whatever your situation may be, the ACCU-Sharp  will meet your automatic reel grinding needs at the most economical  price that we offer.

ACCU-Pro Model 632 Reel Grinder

The 632 ACCU-Pro was introduced in 1997 and is  the scaled down version of the 652 ACCU-Master, with the main  differences being the "automated-infeed grind cycles"  and the "enclosure. The proven "auto-index"  relief system and a push button infeed for spin and relief  make this unit the flagship machine of Foley United's reel  grinder line.

Upgrade from the "one-demensional spin-only" grinder  technology. Customers appreciate the flexibility to do quick  touch-up spin grinds, or returning to factory specifications  when time permits. Don't get locked in to a grinder that limits  your options!

ACCU-Master Model  652 Reel Grinder

The 652 ACCU-Master was developed from the ground up and  was on the drawing board for approximately two years before  being introduced in 1994. Several distributors were invited  to sit on an advisory board, and direct field input was requested  for design. These distributors queried their customer base  and came back with six primary parameters for the design:

• Ultimate Safety
• An "Easy Set-up", which led to the "tabletop" style mounting  of the reel
• Address the dust
• Address the noise
• Relief grind capability if the reel was designed with  factory relief
   
• Alignment capability of the reel to remove any taper that  occurs through use

CCU Model 660 Bedknife Grinder

The ACCU-660 manual bedknife grinder was introduced in 1999  and is at a price point that allows a great value for limited  budgets. The "Calibrated Angle" and "Touch-off  Alignment" features of this unit make the manual grind  process much easier than older style manual machines.

Ease of set up and operation with the ability to reproduce  any configuration separate this grinder from others on the  market. You'll also get a better grind quality than other  methods, a more precise cut, and less demands on time and  effort. Reel Lapping Compound

Specially formulated to backlap your reels faster and sharper  than ever before, our patented Diamonite and Razor-Sharp lapping  compounds are made of a water soluble gel that clings to blades  better and cleans up faster. Pre-mixed, these compounds use  a custom blended polymer to permanently suspend the abrasive  silicon carbide grit and increase cutting efficiency. In addition,  it also allows the re-softening of dried and hardened residue  from prior lapping for easy removal with a garden hose.

Both grades of Foley-United lapping compounds are available  in a wide variety of grit and sizes.

Ideal for a quick touch up of all your reel mowers between  major sharpening, the Model 365 Back Lapper from Foley-United  quickly sharpens and hones your reels and bed knives giving  them a fine cutting edge. Fast and easy to set up, the Back Lapper connects easily  to most reel mowers and can sharpen gang mowers while still  connected to the frame and the tractor. This means minimized  down-time and maximized performance.
