Equipment Technician / Mechanic

Experienced equipment technician to service and repair commercial turf and golf maintenance equipment, spray equipment and work vehicles. Candidate needs to be self starter with ability to work independently. Experience with turf maintenance equipment preferred, but will consider anyone with strong electrical, hydraulic and mechanical skills. Competitive hourly rate plus overtime and production incentives. Total earning potential $35-$50K per year. Fully equipped and air conditioned service facility. Other benefits include; profit sharing, 401K, health insurance, vacation sick and personal time, uniforms, Toro factory sponsored training and tool allowance.

Early May through Late August 2009. Growing Toro Distributor has immediate opening for seasonal person at our retail store in Latham. Responsibilities include handling customers at our parts counter, assisting with packing and shipping UPS orders, putting away stock, answering the phones, and general maintenance. Applicant should have basic knowledge of outdoor power equipment, good customer skills, and be computer literate. This is a seasonal position with overtime available.
